Dermatology Pipeline Medical Science Liaison
AbbVie
AbbVie seeks a Pipeline Medical Science Liaison for dermatology based in Ontario or Quebec. This role involves building relationships with external experts and clinical investigators, providing scientific information, and supporting early-stage interventional trials across Canada while advancing AbbVie's research credibility.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with investigators and external experts at clinical trial sites
- Deliver scientific presentations on dermatology and AbbVie pipeline to sponsored trial investigators
- Support initiation and conduct of Phases 1-3 interventional clinical trials
- Gather medical and scientific field intelligence on investigators and competitive research activities
- Identify R&D collaboration opportunities with key institutions and opinion leaders
Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, or MD degree required
- Solid knowledge of biotech/pharmaceutical industry and business experience
- Previous Medical Science Liaison role preferred
- Dermatology background considered an asset
- Experience in customer-facing healthcare roles
- Ability to present and interpret scientific or clinical research publications
- Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulatory controls
