Experienced Cost Engineer Needed

Step into the role of an Experienced Cost Engineer, applying your skills in a forward-thinking industry. Collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams to enhance cost optimization and product development. This position allows you to play a crucial role in the optimization of costs for new interior components and sub-assemblies. You’ll engage in detailed cost assessment, analysis of supplier offers, and the development of cost reduction strategies. Your contributions will extend to creating databases and enhancing the cost mindset across teams, using your analytical prowess and proficiency in CATIA V5. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate costs during various project phases
- Propose cost optimizations during team reviews
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers alongside procurement
- Develop comprehensive supplier cost breakdowns
- Facilitate workshops on cost awareness and optimization
- 2 to 5 years of industry experience
- Relevant engineering degree required
- Excellent skills in Excel and costing analysis
- Familiarity with project management concepts
- Bilingual in English and French, additional languages a plus
