Technical Sales Specialist
Location: Virtual job based in Toronto, ON
Responsibilities
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Utilize sales/marketing software packages
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Prepare or oversee preparation of sales or other contracts
- Conduct sales transactions
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Engineering, other
- Business administration, management and operations, other
- Marketing/marketing management, general
Experience
5 years or more
Computer and technology knowledge
- Salesforce
Applied meteorology or biometeorology
