We are currently looking for a product specialist to work closely with members of the marketing team and will be responsible to support internal projects related to product content management.

The product specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager as well as the entire marketing team and sales professionals to establish and prepare a variety of marketing efforts and strategies. This role with have a strong focus on planning, production, reporting, copywriting, and creativity. Successful candidates should enjoy working in a well-managed team environment; have the enthusiasm and ambition to complete projects to the highest standards and want to be part of an organization that has high quality values. Responsibilities
Product-Related

· Technical Support acting as the primary contact for incoming distributor and end-user product/sales related requests on the phone, through email and chat

· Factory liaison working with our vendor partners to answer product related questions from sales, distributors and end-users

· Identify product line gaps and opportunities to bring new products to market through competitive analysis and market research

· Become a “Product Expert” by continuously learning about our products and adding to your knowledge base

· Identify and recommend solutions for short-term and long-range product issues that must be addressed

· Maintain and add content to our Technical/Product Logistics Databases

Marketing-Related

· Ensure our website reflects accurate information for our customers

· Work directly with team for product-level website updates and drive ideas that will contribute to an improved customer experience

· Assist with key distributor partner catalog update spreadsheets

Admin-Related

· Understand, support and implement department procedures to meet ISO 9001:2015 objectives

· Other duties, within your capabilities and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or relevant experience Marketing.

Great attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills in English.

Motivated self-starter with high level of drive and determination

Inquisitive, consistently looks for answers and ways to improve day-to-day activities

Experience with Microsoft Excel.
