Job Summary

This position designs, modifies, and troubleshoots equipment used in manufacturing.

Main duties are to design, plan, and implement processes for production.

Duties and Responsibilities

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

• Evaluate and design the CN workflow process
• Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements
• Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with Revolution and London Machinery Standards of Conduct
• Conduct duties consistent with the Company's mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures
• Provide technical assistance for production support
• Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or written communication
• Provide guidance to team members to ensure the appropriate engineering analysis is performed and documented
• Establishes priorities for work delegated to others
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations
• Design and test the production processes
• Establish quality control guidelines for the production process
• Communicate production process designs and ongoing changes to production team members
• Create reports with cost and time estimates for each project
• Participating in the budgeting process to include recommending capital improvements and preparing justification data as required
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues
• Communicate project objectives to team members
• Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
• Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, research, and historical records

Minimum Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• In-depth knowledge of process and mechanical engineering
• Excellent analytical and logic skills
• Effective communication skills
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of engineering design and applied technologies
• Understanding of manufacturing, processing, and production
• Ability to work well with other engineers and stakeholders across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer License preferred
• Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as fabricating, welding, and machining
• Experience in one of the following systems: Hydraulics, Controls, Electrical, Hybrids, CNG, Chassis/Body Integration
• SolidWorks assembly, sheet metal, and part design experience
• Experience with MRP / ERP system (J.D. Edwards preferred)

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
