Fitness Studio Manager

Job Responsibility:

PLEASE NOTE: A personal training or group fitness certification is required for this position.

We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious, positive and energetic individual to focus on aggressively increasing our membership through sales and promotion at F45 Burnaby West.

You will be responsible for establishing a fun, safe, and community-focused culture that delivers high membership satisfaction and achieves maximum success on all aspects of the business. You will also be expected to continually ensure the highest quality experience is provided to our members.

You are an experienced fitness trainer and sales professional who reports directly to the owners. You will be focused on providing leadership to the studio's trainers, coaching classes and inspiring our guests, retaining current members, and closing new members.

The Ideal candidate is enthusiastic and organized, with excellent written & verbal communication skills, is able to overcome objections and has a willingness to grow and foster a thriving membership culture.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Promotion

• If you are uncomfortable with sales, then this is not the position for you
• Thrives while working independently but can inspire and work within a team
• Proven closer and not easily deterred
• Drive membership growth, retention achieving and lead generation
• Coordinate marketing & promotion activities, such as social media and outreach events
• Lead studio tours
• Foster a Positive Member Experience

Managerial

• Oversee the daily operation of the studio
• Generate leads, manage sales and membership retention
• Collaborate with ownership on daily, weekly & monthly goals
• Coaching and managing trainers
• Lead daily F45 classes
• Assist with fitness consultations
• Ensure members & guests are always encouraged & motivated!
• Give out tons of High Fives and Fist Bumps!!

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in fitness sales (proven track record of lead generation, conversion and customer retention)
• 1 + years Personal Training or Group Fitness Experience
• Post-secondary education in a related field or combination of equivalent education & experience will be considered a bonus
• Current CPR, First Aid & nationally accepted fitness accreditation are required
• Ability to prioritize and meet goals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest and passion for the fitness industry & social media
