Dining Room Hostess / Prep Cook - Part-Time

This position is within an independent living seniors facility that utilizes a common dining room for meals. As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for supervising dining room servers, greeting seniors as they enter the dining room area, computer entry billing, and prep cook duties. The part-time position runs Monday to Friday with shifts working 3pm to 7pm on days with no prep cook duties and 10am to 2pm on days with prep cook duties. Applicants would typically have good interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and the ability to deal effectively with seniors. Experience in the restaurant service industry, supervision of other employees, and food safe certificate is an asset.
