Shape a safer future as a SHE and Security Manager with dsm-firmenich in Ayr, Ontario. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and shop-floor leadership to promote health and security. In your role, you will spearhead Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives, driving compliance and fostering a cultural shift toward a zero-incident setting.
Leveraging over three years of manufacturing experience, you will collaborate closely with site management and production teams to implement and improve SHE practices. This position offers real autonomy and the chance to make significant impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the SHE plan
- Provide daily support for SHE and security compliance
- Improve and maintain the SHE management system
- Conduct incident investigations and promote reporting
- Oversee site security and engagement during audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in a relevant discipline preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in SHE leadership roles
- Canadian Registered Safety Skilled designation preferred
- Extensive knowledge of SHE core topics
- Proficient in using MS Office for reporting tasks
