Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist – Family Chiropractic Clinic

Location: Calgary, Alberta

We are looking for two exceptional part-time Front Desk Receptionists to join our busy, family-focused natural health clinic.

Our clinic works primarily with moms, babies, children and families , and the person at our front desk plays a very important role in the experience our patients have from the moment they walk through the door.

We are looking for someone who is warm, capable, mature and highly professional — someone who understands that excellent reception is about much more than answering phones and booking appointments.

You will be the person welcoming a new mom carrying a baby and diaper bag, helping entertain a little one while Mom gets settled, reassuring a parent who has questions, keeping the front desk running smoothly, and making every patient feel like they are genuinely cared for.

Who We're Looking For

The right person for this role has exceptional customer service, telephone and reception skills and is naturally comfortable working in a busy environment with children and families.

You should be confident, organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence.

Because of the specialized nature of our clinic, previous experience working in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy or similar multidisciplinary healthcare clinic is required.

Experience working with children is also required.

Experience using Jane App clinic management software is strongly preferred and will be considered an important asset.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional in-person and telephone customer service
• Warmly welcoming patients and families into the clinic
• Answering phones professionally and confidently
• Scheduling, rescheduling and managing patient appointments
• Using Jane App for scheduling, patient management and clinic administration
• Processing payments and assisting with routine front-desk transactions
• Managing email and patient communications
• Supporting practitioners with day-to-day clinic flow
• Maintaining an organized, professional and welcoming reception area
• Helping moms with babies, toddlers and children when needed
• Comfortably interacting with and engaging children in the reception area
• Supporting patients who may be overwhelmed, uncomfortable or managing multiple children
• Helping maintain a calm and positive environment during busy clinic periods
• Completing general reception and administrative tasks

Required Experience

Applicants must have:

• Previous reception/front-desk experience
• Previous experience in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy or similar healthcare clinic
• Previous experience working with children
• Strong telephone and customer service skills
• Strong computer and administrative skills

Experience with Jane App is strongly preferred.

Hours

We are hiring two part-time employees to provide coverage across the following clinic hours:

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

The schedule will be divided between the two successful candidates.
