We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance and reliability initiatives across large-scale mining operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience working with complex mechanical and electrical systems while partnering closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams in a dynamic industrial environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Support mining operations and maintenance teams by improving equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency

• Perform engineering calculations, analyze operational data, and provide technical recommendations to support maintenance activities

• Scope, plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance-related projects from concept through execution

• Provide technical support to maintenance planners, supervisors, and trades teams

• Complete risk-based assessments and coordinate inspections, repairs, and third-party maintenance work

• Support management of change processes and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with project teams to incorporate reliability and maintenance improvements into equipment upgrades and installations

• Participate in safety initiatives, training programs, and operational improvement activities

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline

• 2+ years of engineering experience within mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or industrial operations environments

• Use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams

• Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help drive successful project coordination and maintenance execution

• Experience supporting rotating and stationary equipment systems is considered an asset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced industrial environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CMMS systems such as Maximo

• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
