Senior Software Engineer - Payment Systems

Take the next step in your career as a Senior Software Engineer with Interac. Lead the development of innovative payment solutions and high-performance microservices applications. As a vital part of the team reporting to the Head, RTR, T&O, you will leverage your software development expertise to architect, develop, and maintain complex payment systems. Focusing on Java and microservices technology, you’ll be tasked with analyzing requirements, conducting performance testing, and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Your role emphasizes simplicity and quality in system architecture and design. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop microservices applications and enhancements
- Collaborate in system design and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and efficient practices
- Contribute to the evolution of architectural standards and practices
- Run and maintain containerized applications with cutting-edge tools
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in Java and database management
- Understanding of application performance and microservice design
- Proven ability in coding best practices and frameworks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
