Manager, Engineering Governance for Water Projects

Take charge of the Engineering Management Office for Niagara Region's water and wastewater initiatives. Ensure effective governance and risk management for sustainable project delivery. In this permanent full-time role, reporting to the Associate Director, you will lead the governance and project frameworks that underpin the capital program for water and wastewater engineering. Candidates should have a degree in an engineering discipline and at least ten years of relevant project management experience. You will be pivotal in achieving compliance and driving continuous improvements in engineering delivery practices. Key Responsibilities: • Manage capital project governance and methodologies • Drive consistent implementation of regulatory requirements • Develop and maintain project stage-gate controls • Oversee engineering practice improvements • Facilitate comprehensive portfolio reporting Requirements: • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering • 10+ years of progressive project management experience • Previous PMO/EMO governance experience preferred • Knowledge of QA/QC and capital program delivery • Experience in municipal engineering environments Utilize your expertise to strengthen Niagara Region's water and wastewater infrastructure through effective project management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
