Regulatory Compliance Manager Banking

Lead Regulatory Compliance Management at Haventree Bank using risk assessments, control frameworks, and Canadian regulatory knowledge. Support federally regulated banking compliance.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, this manager directs and operates Haventree Bank’s RCM framework. The work enhances policies, procedures, systems, and controls supporting regulatory requirements and industry codes. It serves the Bank’s alternative mortgage, GIC, and digital banking businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain regulatory risk and control assessment methodology
- Administer Regulatory Compliance Management systems and coordinate business sign-offs
- Research regulatory developments and disseminate changed requirements
- Review controls, identify improvements, and monitor corrective action plans
- Support compliance training, advisory work, reviews, and investigations
Requirements:
- University degree in law, business, or equivalent experience
- Four to five years in financial services or retail banking
- Experience in compliance, audit, or internal control functions
- Knowledge of Canadian banking laws and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with GRC systems such as Resolver or Refinitiv
