The Role

As a Machine Operator at Ganong, you will be responsible for manually handling products and operating machinery to regulate the production process. You will play a critical role in ensuring the production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The role includes maintaining high standards of quality while meeting production schedules in a timely manner.

Who You Are

We are seeking a detail-oriented and accountable individual with strong computer skills to handle paperwork and multi-task efficiently. The ideal candidate will work well both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent safety practices, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to manufacturing standards. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential.

Pay Rate : $18.75 to $23.80 hourly (To be negotiated)/37.5 to 48 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Tasks: Operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products
• Supervision: Machine operators

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check
• Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling, fast paced environment
• Own tools/equipment: steel-toed safety boots
