Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site First Aid Attendant, offering support to any person in need of assistance.
- Watch for and report irregularities, such as safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required.
- Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities. Reporting all first aid interactions, accurate tracking of first aid bag materials and ensuring first aid bags are adequately stocked
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be in possession of a valid OFA III certificate.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (afternoons/nights/weekends).
- Must be bondable and able to pass a security clearance.
- A valid British Columbia Security License would be considered an asset. Basic Security Training
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or previous security experience is also considered an asset.
Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma/GED
Grade 12 or GED equivalent
Certification Requirements (All)
OFA 3
OFA 2
OFA I
