Hybrid Corporate Tax Manager at Fidelity

Fidelity seeks a Corporate Tax Manager in Toronto to oversee tax audits and compliance. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and a chance to impact strategic tax initiatives. As part of Fidelity’s Corporate Tax team, you will handle complex tax audits and significant tax risks. Your responsibilities encompass managing relationships with tax authorities, developing compliance strategies, and coordinating with external advisors. Additionally, you will provide tax consulting on cross-border transactions and mentor offshore teams to strengthen execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex tax audits and disputes
- Act as liaison with tax authorities regarding compliance
- Develop strategies for transfer pricing and tax documentation
- Mentor offshore tax teams and implement improvements
- Discuss audit updates and tax strategies with management
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5-7 years of corporate tax experience required
- CPA or equivalent advanced taxation qualification
- Expertise in tax risk management and transfer pricing
- Strong analytical and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
