Lead AI risk management as a Senior AI Risk Officer at BMO. Oversee AI deployment, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and bank standards while addressing generative AI concerns. This senior-level role is integral to the second line of defense in Operational Non-Financial Risk. You will engage with business groups to ensure an effective review of AI solutions and develop testing protocols. Collaboration with 2nd line functions is essential to capture comprehensive insights on AI risks, including emerging technologies and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and evaluation of AI risks for business groups
- Develop procedures for thorough risk review and challenge
- Maintain and improve AI Risk and Analytics Risk Directives
- Document assessments of AI risk profiles and exposures
- Represent AI risk in internal and external reviews
- 7+ years relevant experience with a post-secondary degree
- Graduate degree in quantitative field preferred
- Hands-on experience with AI model development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
