Oracle Financials Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Specialized Fusion Testing:
  
• Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire), FAH, EPM (Planning-Financials, Workforce, Projects), Project Management
  
• Validate reports and analytics built using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
  
• Test inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g., EDI, SOAP/REST APIs, PL/SQL).
  
• Test Planning & Strategy:
  
• Analyze business requirements, functional design documents, and user stories to understand testing scope.
  
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Define test data requirements and work with the team to have it prepared.
  
• Estimate testing effort and contribute to project timelines.
  
• Test Execution & Defect Management:
  
• Identify, record, document, and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA, ALM, or OTBI.
  
• Work with developers and functional consultants to isolate, replicate, and resolve defects.
  
• Perform regression testing to ensure new configurations, patches, or integrations do not adversely affect existing functionality.

Process & Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Business, Functional, Technical) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  
• Support business users during UAT, helping them understand test cases and log issues.
  
• Create and maintain test documentation for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
  
• Provide clear and concise test summary reports and status updates to stakeholders.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a QA Tester, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion Applications.
  
• Hands-on experience on the following:
  
• Financials (FSCM): General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Expenses, FAH, Project Management
  
• EPM: Planning (Financials, Workforce, Projects), FCCS
  
• Procurement: Purchasing
  
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans.
  
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.
  
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Zephyr).
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
