Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Accounting Analyst plays a key role in the centralized accounting function at RIMAP Hospitality. This person actively contributes to financial accuracy and operational efficiency while working closely with a committed and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for hotels and apartment properties.
Reconcile apartment revenue (Hopem) and follow up with property managers.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries.
Record revenue entries for hotels and apartment properties.
Prepare financial statements for multiple hotels prior to review by the Regional Controller.
Assist with budget preparation in collaboration with other regional team members.
Validate payroll prior to submission by the payroll administrator.
Enter accounts payable when required.
Perform intercompany billing between hotels and apartment buildings.
Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications:
Certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset.
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and pivot tables.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Experience in hospitality is an asset.
