Senior Additive Manufacturing Technician Role

Become a key player at NordSpace as a Senior Additive Manufacturing Technician. Specialize in LPBF systems to bring precision and innovation to aerospace components. In this role, you will operate advanced metal additive manufacturing processes and collaborate with engineers to enhance build quality for the Tundra launch vehicle. Oversight of powder management and strict adherence to safety measures are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:

Run full build cycles using LPBF metal systems
Collaborate with engineering on build procedures
Manage metal powder lifecycle and safety protocols
Oversee inspections and post-processing operations
Ensure maintenance of additive manufacturing equipment

Requirements:

Diploma or relevant certificate in Engineering Technology
4+ years of hands-on LPBF experience
Knowledge of metal powder handling and safety practices
Understanding of metallurgy fundamentals for AM
Attention to detail with compliance to safety
