Maintenance Engineer at SoHo Hotel

Become a crucial member of SoHo Hotel’s team in Toronto as a Maintenance Engineer. Your role ensures the hotel remains comfortable and inviting for all guests. As a full-time Maintenance Engineer, your duties include troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. You'll ensure preventative measures are in place, assist colleagues across departments, and respond efficiently to guest requests. This position supports a luxurious stay for all while upholding the hotel’s high service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all hotel systems
- Maintain high quality through cosmetic repairs
- Log daily activities and preventative maintenance tasks
- Assist in maintaining supply inventories
- Collaborate on projects with department managers
- 2–3 years of related experience required
- Hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Capable of heavy lifting and standing for long periods
