Recruitment Assistant

Our client, a well-known healthcare organization, is looking for a Recruitment Assistant on a 6 month contract. As a Recruitment Assistant you will be supporting the HR team with recruitment and administrative support through the recruitment process.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Prepare and send offer and employee transfer letters.
• Administer onboarding tasks for new hires using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Create job postings and process hires in the ATS.
• Support internal recruitment and qualifying processes for union employees.
• Coordinate reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
• Schedule interviews and support recruitment operations.
• Administer online employment testing for clerical positions.
• Provide general administrative and project support to the Recruitment team as required.

Who You Are:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field, with some HR/recruitment or office administration experience.
• Basic understanding of recruitment and HR processes.
• Strong organizational, administrative, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams; experience with ATS/HRIS systems is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
