What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Consultant on the AI & Data Transformation team, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy, data, and artificial intelligence—leading the design and delivery of AI-enabled transformations that create measurable enterprise value.

 

Your day could include:
• Leading and facilitating senior-level client workshops, executive interviews, and working sessions to define strategic priorities, target operating models, and transformation opportunities.
• Shaping and designing future-state AI and data-driven solutions, including high-impact use cases leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Advanced Analytics.
• Driving end-to-end development of Proofs of Concept (PoCs), pilot programs, governance frameworks, and multi-year AI and data roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
• Translating complex technical and analytical concepts into clear, compelling narratives, executive-ready presentations, and actionable strategic recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver scalable AI and data transformation initiatives across industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Healthcare, Energy, and Consumer.
• Owning key aspects of engagement delivery, including workstream management, mentoring junior team members, ensuring quality of client deliverables, and contributing to overall project success.

AI & Data is one of Deloitte Canada’s fastest-growing practices, with 300+ professionals across Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, and Calgary. Our multidisciplinary team brings together strategists, technologists, designers, and data scientists to deliver human-centered, responsibly deployed AI solutions grounded in real-world impact.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor and strong leadership capabilities. For this role, you bring:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in management consulting, analytics, data strategy, AI, or digital transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to AI, Generative AI, advanced analytics, or large-scale data transformation initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex challenges, synthesize insights, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality, client-facing work products.
• Advanced storytelling and presentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to navigate evolving problem spaces, take ownership, and lead workstreams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
