Assistant Dining Room Supervisor
Overview:
Join our team as an Assistant Dining Room Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a leader in the seniors living sector, we are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and excellence in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to dining room staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee dining room preparation and meal service to maintain high standards of quality
- Manage team members effectively, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage inventory and inventory control procedures
- Provide administrative support to manage billing and other charges
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Act as a resident advocate and a change agent in the pursuit of continuous quality improvement
Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma, diploma in hospitality management is preferred
- Previous experience in a supervisory role demonstrating strong leadership skills is required, preferably in a seniors living facility
- Experience interacting with cognitively challenged residents is an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction is required
- Food safety certificate is required
- Proficiency in safe food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems software is an asset
