Senior Engineer, Roadway Signals & Lighting

Become a pivotal part of RVA's engineering team as a Senior Project Engineer, specializing in Roadway Signals and Lighting, based in Halton, Toronto, or Barrie. Work on impactful designs for transportation infrastructure in Ontario. This position calls for an experienced engineer with a degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering and over 10 years of relevant expertise in traffic signal and roadway lighting design. You will play an integral role in managing client relationships, ensuring quality design work, and mentoring junior staff throughout project phases. Your contributions will enhance transportation safety and efficacy. Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong client relationships and support business initiatives
- Lead design and specification development with teams
- Deliver engineering services for large-scale transportation projects
- Oversee QA/QC for post-construction documents
- Conduct field visits for ongoing project assessments
- Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of design experience in consulting
- Extensive knowledge of relevant testing standards
- Proficiency in AGi32 and AutoCAD
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence for travel
