We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable Operations Officer II to join our back-office operations team in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing registered financial requests (specifically RRIF withdrawals) in strict compliance with CRA guidelines and institutional policies.

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Receive, review, and execute high-risk Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) withdrawal requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Compliance & Validation: Validate customer data and documentation against internal requirements and CRA guidelines prior to transferring funds externally.
Back-Office Operations: Execute 100% back-office administrative workflows with zero direct telephone or external customer contact.
Data Management: Utilize Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track, input, and report on processing queues.
Performance Targets: Meet daily accuracy standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in a compliance-heavy operational setting.
Team Collaboration: Participate in daily team check-ins (approx. 30 minutes/day) and work alongside a collaborative group of 11 team members.

Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience within banking, financial services, or back-office operations.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Education: Post-secondary diploma or university degree preferred (ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals).
Data Privacy: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive customer and financial data responsibly.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros).
Familiarity or experience with running Power Queries.

Core Soft Skills:
Technical Aptitude: Tech-savvy with an ability to pick up internal banking software quickly.
