Make a difference as a Clinical Academic Cardiologist focusing on women’s heart health at Vancouver General Hospital. Engage in research and education while providing clinical care.
The Vancouver Division of Cardiology seeks a highly skilled cardiologist for a full-time, permanent position. Your work will primarily revolve around the Leslie Diamond Women’s Heart Health Centre and align with research and teaching at UBC. This role requires a commitment to elevating the standards of cardiac care for women through impactful research and educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cardiology services at the Women’s Heart Health Centre
• Dedicate 30% of time to research and educational efforts
• Contribute to advancing UBC’s cardiology programs
• Provide solid clinical care across both hospitals
• Supervise and teach students in a collaborative environment
Requirements:
• FRCPC in Internal Medicine, Cardiology Competency Certification
• Eligibility for British Columbia medical licensure
• Fellowship training in women’s heart health preferred
• Dedication to research and teaching excellence
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Drive advancements in women's heart health with UBC and Vancouver General Hospital while engaging in critical research and education.
