Working directly with applications department customers and Project team to direct project scope and ensure profitability goals are met on budget. Work with the management and plant personnel to deliver the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Youll Be Doing: Direct and coordinate project schedules and resource allocation within the individual project teamsMonitor and communicate the project scope to the project teams as well as updating entire project time of contract changesCreate and review project schedules with the customer and project team to ensure on time project deliveryReview initial project scope and buy-in to project budgetDevelop and manage project budgets and maintain project profitabilityManage company man hours versus projected project hours to maintain company optimum capacity work functionsMonitor all progress by the project teams on a daily basis pinpoint possible issues with design budgets schedules and customersLiaison betweenall departments to ensure time delivery of purchased items and on time delivery of Eclipse machinery and equipmentCo-chair companys project meetings to ensure all department leaders meet design specifications schedules and project budgetsReview new projects with applications and department managers to allocate budgets and company resourcesEnsure completion of all project contract deliverables through verification checklists includinginternal pre shipment check lists are completeParticipate in the development of change order proposalsAssist in the design evaluation of accepted project ordersRecord all Research & Development work per project is reported for SR&ED claimsMonitor individual and departmental performance on a project level to identify department short falls and apply performance metrics against final executionLeadership: Monitor and update project work-in-progress to report project profitability to accounting on a monthly basisCommunicate project invoicing to the Accounting department and ensure payment is receivedPromote positive relations and open communication techniques with partners customers vendors and distributorsRecommend and consistently administer policies process flow and procedures to enhance operationsAbility to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projectsAbility to communicate effectively with personnel resolve and trouble shoot potential problems with supervisorsWhat Were Looking For: Has successfully completed a University Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering / Robotics Automation Technology or equivalent experienceFormal project management training through PMP or working towards obtaining PMP CertificationFamiliarity with AutoCAD andSolid Works would be an asset5-10 years experience in the custom automation industry / nuclear within a supervisory roleExperience in strategic planning and executionKnowledge of contracting negotiating accounting principles and sound business practicesKnowledge of structuring resource planningmanaging budgetsand revenue expectationsWork requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer:Reimbursement for tuition and professional dues3 weeks of vacation and 3 paid personal days (to start)RRSP matching programFree snack programWhy Join Us:Here at Eclipse Automation creation and innovation are at our core and our culture reflects that.
