What is the Opportunity?

Aecon is Canada’s largest nuclear constructor currently employing 2000+ highly skilled workers. The Jr. Project Coordinator will participate in Aecon’s Project Coordinator job rotation program between Bruce County and Cambridge. This position provides in-depth exposure, over a 2.5-year period, to the full spectrum of nuclear project environments Aecon has to offer. Seeking new graduates (April 2027).

This job rotation program will provide Project Coordinators with the opportunity to grow their skillsets at a rate commensurate with the needs of the nuclear industry.

Located in Bruce County and Cambridge.

What You'll Do Here:

• Communicate with engineering team members and the engineering manager to maintain the engineering scope work breakdown structure.
• Communicate changes and updates from the engineering team to other project groups (i.e., scheduling, project controls, construction).
• Organize meetings (internal or client) as required by the engineering team and develop meeting minutes. Report on action items from engineering meetings for input to the Action Items Register.
• Coordinate requests for information to vendors/client as identified by the engineering team.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The expected pay range for this role is $74,000 - $81,000 per year.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
