We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consulting Specialist – FICO to join our team in Toronto. This role involves supporting critical post-go-live activities, including managing hyper care tickets and implementing deferred project items. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and optimization of the SAP S/4HANA environment. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in finance and controlling modules to bridge the gap between technical configuration and business process requirements, including the integration of financial reporting with Anaplan.

Assignment Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Contract Duration: 12-month contract with a potential 12-month extension
Schedule: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week
Rate: $73.42-$79.81/hr

Responsibilities
Hyper Care & Support: Provide expert support for ticket triaging, troubleshooting, issue identification, and defect resolution for the FICO and FM modules.

S/4HANA Configuration: Implement prioritized deferred items, configuring the system to align with best practices and specific business requirements.

Process Design & Documentation: Develop functional specifications, update business process documentation, and create risk mitigation strategies.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Review and update test scripts and cases, identify test data, and execute various testing phases (unit, integration, regression, and UAT).

Cross-System Integration: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP solutions, particularly regarding Anaplan for budgeting.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with leadership and business partners to drive project objectives and provide expert SAP guidance.

Training & Enablement: Develop communication plans and training materials to support end-users and ensure a smooth transition to new functionality.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale programs within government or large private sector organizations.

SAP Expertise: Deep functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA, specifically Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), Accounts Payable (AP), Project Systems (PS), and Funds Management (FM).

Implementation History: Proven track record in delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementations.

Project Methodology: Extensive experience with Agile, Waterfall, and iterative project management techniques and tools.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and strong knowledge of test methodologies. SAP Solution Manager Change Request knowledge is an asset.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including leadership and vendors.

Certification: SAP Certification in FI-CO is considered an asset.
