Position: Accountant
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Lead the preparation of tax returns, including Canadian income tax and GST/HST filings.
- Contribute to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Help prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects, client deliverables, and other tasks as needed.
What You’ll Have:
- Business undergraduate degree, or a degree in a related field
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with QuickBooks or Xero.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
