Job Responsibility:
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in our new restaurant TuBird, located in the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. The ideal candidate should have experience in the food industry and be passionate about meal preparation and creating delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking our menu in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards of freshness and presentation
- Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies
We prioritize:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
