Join VLink's Montreal team as a Senior Spark and Databricks Engineer, where you will tackle advanced data engineering challenges. This onsite role focuses on migrating complex reporting pipelines to Azure. As a Senior Databricks/Scala/Spark Engineering Specialist, you will lead efforts in transforming legacy ETL processes into a cloud-native architecture. Your technical expertise in Scala, SQL, and Databricks will enable you to design automated pipelines with stringent regulatory requirements. Your familiarity with CI/CD practices will enhance team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate on-prem regulatory pipelines to a up-to-date Azure solution
- Create and test production Spark applications in Scala
- Write complex SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Implement automated testing and quality checks
- Manage orchestration workflows for data processes
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Scala and Spark applications
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data interactions
- Understanding of Azure components and networking
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows
- Experience with data quality and reconciliation techniques
