Lumber Building Materials Sales Manager

Job Responsibility:

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Lumber Building Materials Sales Manager, HABS on a permanent basis on our Home & Building Solutions (HABS) team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK .

Are you interested in leading the Operational Lumber Advisor team to deliver on measurable sales objectives to meet and exceed Lumber Building Material (LBM) sales goals, margins, and market share for the HABS LBM locations? If this sounds like you, apply today!

What you'll do:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to Lumber Operational Advisors on local Co-op LBM central sourcing, and local co-op LBM B2B sales related initiatives and projects.
• Develop and enhance strategic sales and market share growth initiatives through collaboration with all stakeholders and HABS SLT.
• Provide leadership to identify new sales pipeline opportunities for local Co-ops and the HABS department and explore additional or new sources of LBM sales revenue.
• Lead regular internal and local Co-op meetings and communication to help the Lumber Advisor team become trusted business advisors for the local Co-ops. In addition, collaborate and communicate within the HABS Operational Zone teams.

The Team: You will work closely with 3 rd party vendors, local Co-ops, FCL Leaders, Warehouse Procurement/Logistics teams, Lumber Operations Advisors, HABS SLT team, will have 4 direct reports, and will report into the Senior Manager, HABS Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, expertise, and results driven.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

• Have 8+ years of relevant experience, specifically in sales management and multi-stakeholder relationships.
• Have a bachelor's degree or college diploma (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
