Finance Transformation Analyst

Job Responsibility: AltaGas - Finance Transformation Analyst Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and transformation? We are seeking a talented Finance Transformation Analyst to join our team and play a key role in our finance transformation initiatives. This role will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing innovative solutions, and enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our finance operations. You Will:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing finance and accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies for process automation, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate the adoption of new systems and technologies by preparing training materials and conducting educational workshops for staff
• Monitor and report on the performance of newly implemented solutions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in finance technology to ensure our processes remain competitive and cutting-edge
• Serve as a liaison between Finance and Digital to ensure clear communication and effective implementation of technological solutions
• Support Finance master management by maintaining controls for access, security and data quality

You Have:

• Strong understanding of financial processes and principles as well as accounting practices
• Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling
• Familiarity with ERP systems, RPA tools, and Finance-related software
• Innovative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and efficiency
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a keen interest in utilizing Digital tools to support Finance operations
