Join the pre-construction team at Gardner Electric as a Senior Electrical Estimator, focusing on commercial and institutional projects. Prepare precise estimates and support project teams throughout the process. Gardner Electric is expanding due to ongoing growth in Atlantic Canada. We seek a skilled Electrical Estimator with over five years of experience to prep competitive estimates for diverse projects. You will play a crucial role in both the tendering process and project execution by leveraging your technical expertise and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for various projects
• Perform quantity take-offs utilizing Accubid (Trimble)
• Review and interpret project drawings and specifications
• Solicit and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience
• Proficient in Accubid (Trimble) software
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting specifications
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and practices
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code Contribute to large-scale projects with accurate estimates and support at Gardner Electric.
