Job requirements:

• Language: Basic English
• Experience: 3 years of related experience
• Work setting: Roads and bridges, Sidewalks and curbs, Residential, Commercial, Urban,
• Types of materials used: Colours and sealers, Hardners and epoxies
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities : Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads (Up to 23 kg/50 lbs), Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail
• Work Site Environment : Outdoors, Noisy

• Own tools/equipment : Steel-toed safety boots

Duties:

• Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Set and adjust concrete forms to the required dimensions, levels, and grades
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
• Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
• Must participate and adhere to all safety rules and procedures
