Cement Finisher Mountains Edge Construction Ltd Location 9241 44 Street SE Calgary, AB Salary 37.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Full time Flexible hours, to be determined, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Dusty Noisy Outdoors Work setting Commercial Residential Sidewalks and curbs Various Locations Responsibilities: Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade Operate power vibrators to compact concrete Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces Experience and specialization Type of materials Colours and sealers Hardners and epoxies Light weight concrete Mastic flooring Reinforcing membrane and protective covering Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Driver's validity licence check Drug test Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Bending, crouching, kneeling Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Flexibility Team player Dependability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Vision care benefits Until 2026-11-14
