In this role, you'll engage with diverse technologies at IBM Software, specifically within the Connect Platform Team at Confluent. As a senior developer, your expertise will bridge Apache Kafka with external ecosystems, affecting both on-premises and cloud solutions. You'll architect systems, enhance platform efficiency, and lead technical projects to deliver high-quality software solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement distributed engineering systems
• Collaborate on the roadmap for a Data Streaming Platform
• Guide technical teams and mentor developers
• Evaluate and improve technology stack efficiency
• Solve complex technical challenges with high quality
Requirements:
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Proven leadership in large-scale systems delivery
• Deep expertise in distributed systems engineering
• Experience with cloud platforms and security
• BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
Lead high-quality software development at IBM while innovating cloud-native technologies.
