Become a US Tax Specialist with Crédit Agricole CIB, focusing on compliance and reporting. This hybrid job supports critical tax operations for the Americas region. The NY Tax Department seeks a US Tax Specialist to enhance compliance and manage tax-related duties amid growing demands. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive support for information reporting and ensure efficient tax operations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to addressing current challenges and improving overall tax governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage annual 1042/1042-S and 1099 reporting processes
- Oversee responses to W-8/W-9 inquiries for CACIB
- Aid in preparing state and local tax returns
- Assist in preparing indirect tax reports, such as sales taxes
- Collaborate on tax efficiency and strategic plans
- Solid background in US tax compliance and reporting
- Knowledge of FATCA and related regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Relevant experience in a tax operations role
- Flexibility for hybrid working environments
