Maintenance Technician

Your new role

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and general building operations across multiple commercial properties.
• Respond to tenant service requests and build positive relationships through a high level of customer service.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance, operational, and safety concerns.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Manage and track work orders through maintenance management systems, including Angus Anywhere.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance activities.
• Travel regularly between sites, including occasional travel to other provinces approximately twice per month.

What you'll need to succeed

• 4+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facility operations, or a similar role.
• Strong tenant-facing experience with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Experience with Angus Anywhere is considered a strong asset.
• Relevant certifications such as 4th Class Power Engineering, Building Operator Certification (BOC), or similar are considered assets.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between sites.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
