Quantitative Trader Algorithmic Trading

As a Quantitative Trader, you will research market behavior, develop models, and convert findings into algorithms and business insights. You will manage algorithmic trading operations while collaborating with engineering, data science, operations, and product teams. The work spans simulation, validation, production deployment, and response to changing conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build models predicting market movement and liquidity profiles
- Classify order flow to optimize routing, execution, and risk
- Develop algorithms and deploy systems with engineers
- Manage daily algorithmic trading operations
- Maintain simulations using historical market data
Requirements:
- Three-plus years in quantitative or algorithmic trading
- STEM degree from a leading institution
- Excellent Python scripting skills
- Statistics, probability, stochastic processes, and quantitative methods foundation
- Understanding of Canadian equity market structure
