Senior Municipal Civil Engineer
WSP
Lead municipal infrastructure design at WSP in Kingston or Cornwall, applying civil engineering expertise across water, wastewater, and transportation systems.As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will deliver complex municipal projects from concept through construction. Your work will include technical leadership, project management, multidisciplinary collaboration, client engagement, and mentoring technical professionals. You will help develop resilient community infrastructure while supporting quality, safety, risk mitigation, proposals, and business development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Lead municipal infrastructure projects from planning through constructionDesign water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and roadway systemsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainable engineering solutionsStrengthen relationships with municipal, provincial, and private clientsMentor junior engineers and technical professionalsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institutionProfessional Engineer designationExtensive municipal infrastructure project delivery experienceProject management experience covering scope, budgets, schedules, and expectationsKnowledge of municipal standards and regulatory frameworksBring technical leadership, municipal engineering expertise, and client engagement skills to WSP projects shaping resilient communities across Ontario.
