Senior Clinical Research Associate

Senior Clinical Research Associate role with ICON in Burlington, Canada, overseeing clinical trial monitoring in a sponsor-dedicated model. Requires extensive CRA experience with current oncology background, managing multiple sites while ensuring protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites for protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standards
- Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve issues, and provide operational support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on timely and accurate data collection and reporting
- Train and guide site staff and junior CRAs to maintain high conduct standards
- Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Extensive Clinical Research Associate experience with deep trial process knowledge
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently
- Strong expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management
- Proficiency in clinical trial software and relevant tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Current oncology monitoring experience required
