The company is rapidly growing and has both hardware and software groups to achieve its R&D goals.
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)to help expand and maintain our web-based job submission platform. This role is critical to ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as we grow our quantum computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in a wide range of software engineering disciplines and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs for our job submission and user management platform .
- Develop and maintain efficient data transfer objects (DTOs) for high-performance communication.
- Architect systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Implement monitoring, instrumentation, and deployment pipelines for production systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with quantum computing workflows.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a backend development role.
- Strong proficiency in Golang and backend development.
- Experience with systems architecture and API design .
- Solid understan ding of concurrency , thread safety , and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with monitoring , instrumentation , and deployment best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skil ls and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience wit h OPA (Open Policy Agent)for policy enforcement.
- Knowledge of Keycloak or similar identity and access management tools.
- Background in security best practices for backend systems.
- Exposure to cloud-nati ve environments and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes on Azure ).
- Some experience with frontend development (React, NextJS , etc )
- Knowledge of DBA, NoSQL (MongoDB )and Redis
