The Opportunity

At IMP Solutions, we provide IT products, and IT and business consulting services to our clients across Canada.

We're growing our Professional Services team and are looking for a consultant who can combine strong problem-solving skills, client relationship management, and delivery experience to help our clients achieve their desired outcomes.

You'll work directly with clients, contribute to initiatives from planning through delivery, and support a mix of advisory and delivery engagements. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of industries and organizations while building experience in consulting, transformation, and project delivery.

Our consultants work with clients across both the public and private sectors, providing a combination of advisory, transformation, and delivery services for business and technology initiatives.

The role offers a mix of remote and on-site work, depending on client needs.

What You Will Do

• Support and lead client engagements from planning through execution
• Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and project teams
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and identify solutions
• Contribute to recommendations and practical solutions that help clients achieve business outcomes
• Support project, program, or transformation initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Help manage project risks, issues, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to drive successful outcomes
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, business requirements, and other client deliverables
• Contribute to proposals, client discussions, and other business development activities as opportunities arise

About The Work

Our projects typically involve:

• Large-scale system implementations
• Digital transformation and modernization efforts
• Organizational change management and user adoption
• IT and business process improvements
• Advisory and planning engagements

What You Need To Succeed

• 3-7 years of experience in consulting, project delivery, business analysis, organizational change, program management, or related disciplines
• Experience supporting or leading business and technology initiatives
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience building relationships and working directly with clients
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment is considered an asset
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CBAP, CCBA, Prosci, Agile, ITIL, or equivalent experience are considered assets
• A willingness to continuously learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibility
