Enterprise Risk Management Director Opportunity (Sherbrooke)

Shape risk strategies as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management at a leading insurance organization. Enhance governance and foster a strong risk culture across teams.
In this senior leadership role, you will report to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, while overseeing the ENTIRE risk management framework. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, Legal, and IT to identify critical risks and support strategic initiatives. Your expertise in enterprise risk will be vital to ensuring informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of enterprise risk management frameworks
- Oversee annual risk assessments and reporting outcomes
- Present strategic risk insights to committees and executives
- Assess compliance and regulatory risks with business leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor in risk management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Finance, or a related area
- 8+ years in risk management or related functions
- Experience with executive-level reporting and presentations
- Proficiency in COSO and ISO 31000 standards
- Explicit understanding of Canadian regulatory guidelines
