About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations & Cleaning Coordinator with strong hospitality experience to oversee the daily operations of furnished units in Toronto. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-driven, and committed to enhancing the guest experience through efficient processes and technology. Previous experience in logistics and operations management, especially within tourism and hospitality, is highly valued for understanding accommodation standards and ensuring smooth operations
- Manage operations across multiple furnished units- Coordinate cleaning schedules and collaborate with cleaning teams- Monitor supplies and inventory, ensuring resource optimization.Periodically check the condition of mattresses, pillows, blankets, and other inventory items, and arrange for maintenance or replacement as needed.- Ensure that clean bedding, towels, supplies, and tools are available every Saturday.- Identify, evaluate, and suggest new suppliers for better quality and costefficiency.- Plan and assign cleaning staff based on the number of units, available time, and designated zones.- Coordinate maintenance to keep units' guest-ready for check in and check out- Implement software tools and systems to streamline operations and improve workflows- Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and service quality- Anticipate and address operational challenges proactively- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards- Work closely with guest services and other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar roles, such as: Cleaning coordinators Housekeeping supervisor (ideally hotel or airbnb settings) Operations or delivery manager o Maintenance or general service crew coordinator hospitality operations or a similar role
Previous experience in Hospitality and tourism. Experience managing teams (5 to 20 people) Coordination with external service providers (maintenance, laundry) Strong focus on process improvement and technology implementation Proficiency with hospitality management software and operational tools is a must Experience working with check-ins/check-outs or time-sensitive tasks Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure Excellent communication skills and professional presentation Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus Familiarity with apps such as Turno, Properly, Breezeway, or internal systems Availability to work Saturdays
