Senior Security Operations Specialist at Beanfield

Focused on safeguarding our network, this role involves advanced threat detection and rapid incident response in Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver. Beanfield is looking for an expert to oversee day-to-day security operations. You'll be responsible for monitoring alerts, conducting thorough threat investigations, and guiding incident response processes. Your input will significantly influence the implementation of security policies and the overall resilience of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and prioritize security alerts from various platforms
- Lead proactive threat hunting and analyses of incidents
- Develop automation for detection and compliance reporting
- Manage vulnerability assessments and audit compliance
- Provide technical support for internal and external audits
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SOC or Incident Response
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar
- Strong knowledge of EDR and SIEM structures
- Experienced in leading technical security responses
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
