We are the Lorne and Susan Kenney, located in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario, and we are looking to hire a part-time caregiver to assist my wife and me. The form which I am filling out is aimed at parents seeking a nanny for their children; I don't know if this is something that can be arranged through you or not. The position we offer is a live-in opportunity, providing you with a comfortable and welcoming environment to work and reside in. I am 81 and my wife, Susan, is 75. She has dementia and needs some assistance and I need time away from being her caregiver. We are offering a competitive rate of $20 per hour for this part-time position. If you have experience working with seniors and are interested in a live-in arrangement, we would love to hear from you. We live in a 2000 square foot condo townhouse in a senior's community. Everything we need is on the main floor but there is a loft with a large pleasant bedroom with its own full bathroom and a small sitting area with a TV. I have thought that someone could live here and enjoy considerable (but obviously not complete) privacy. We don't need constant care or attention and it should be possible for an enterprising person to find one or two other seniors in the area who need some help and/or companionship.
